The Naval Blue kitchen, Poteau

Oak cabinets in a Poteau kitchen, painted Naval Blue. The cabinets are the ones that were there.

The same kitchen before painting: oak cabinets around a black range and a stainless microwave
A kitchen after painting: Naval Blue cabinets above and below cream counters, a black range, a stainless refrigerator and a wood plank floor

Ask how many days your kitchen will be out of use when we walk it.

Paint the cabinets you have: the same boxes and doors, a new color. From October to March, most of our work is cabinets and interiors.

What cabinet painting includes

We paint the cabinet boxes, the doors and the drawer fronts you already have, in the kitchen or the bathroom. On the Naval Blue kitchen the doors came off, and the counters, walls and floor were covered while the work went on. New cabinets can be clear coated instead of painted: 1 customer on Google had us do just that.

The prep, as the Naval Blue kitchen shows

That kitchen took 4 steps. We degreased the cabinets, because kitchen grease keeps primer from sticking. We sanded them, so the primer had a surface to grip. Then 2 coats of primer, then 3 coats of Naval Blue.

How long a kitchen takes

The number of days depends on how many doors and drawers you have and how many coats the job needs. Each coat has to dry before the next. We tell you the number of days when we walk your kitchen, along with how long it will be out of use.

What 1 customer wrote

  • I have had trifecta take care of a few projects (clear coating new cabinets, texturing and painting walls, giving our kitchen and bathrooms a fresh coat of paint). They’ll be who I call on my next project! Great price and very pleased with their work!

Cabinet questions

How much does it cost to paint kitchen cabinets near Fort Smith or Poteau?

The price turns on how many doors, drawers and boxes you have, how many coats the job needs, what shape the old finish is in, and whether you want paint or a clear coat. We give the price after we see the kitchen.

How do you paint kitchen cabinets?

On the Naval Blue kitchen in Poteau we degreased the cabinets, sanded them, put on 2 coats of primer and then 3 coats of color. The doors were off for the work, and the counters, walls and floor were covered.

Do you paint cabinets in Fort Smith?

Yes. We take kitchen and bathroom cabinet jobs in Fort Smith, in Poteau and in the other 9 towns within about an hour of Poteau, on both sides of the state line. The Naval Blue kitchen in our photos is a Poteau job.

When is the best time of year to paint cabinets?

Any month works, because the work is indoors. From October to March most of our work is cabinets and interiors, because of the colder weather.

Can you paint oak cabinets a dark color?

Yes. The Naval Blue kitchen we painted in Poteau started as oak.

Do you paint bathroom vanities?

Yes. The white vanity in our photos is our work.

Can you clear coat new cabinets instead of painting them?

Yes. John Hamilton, 1 of our Google reviewers, had us clear coat his new cabinets.

Does it cost anything to have you look at my kitchen?
